The Music Research Group of the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) is attached to the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA), the university’s music faculty. The research group sets itself the task to give impulses to music education in the conservatory and beyond, to the practices of makers and players, and to science and society. The head of the research group leads a team of four senior researchers who are responsible for the development of the research themes. The members of this team also supervise research projects carried out by teachers and lecturers and contributes to the development of education for bachelor- and master students.
