Domein: creative processes, maker-based research and education, practices of artists and designers

The lectorate Research in Creative Practices works on maker-based research. This takes place in the context of artistic and creative making practices, like that of a media designer, a composer, an interieur architect or a visual artist. The goal of this maker-based research is to build practice-bases theory and to generate shareable and applicable makers’ knowledge that will inspire makers to create better or different. In essence the question is: how can we contribute to the strengthening of the maker practice, and with that to the education that prepares makers for their future practices.
