Domain: Creative and cultural entrepreneurship, arts and society
Our society is confronted with a large number of complex challenges (from climate change, migration, and energy transitions, to challenges in finding, organising and paying for suitable care). Such complex problems require the input, entrepreneurship from, and collaboration with the cultural sector. At the same time, however, the cultural sector itself is under pressure too. There is precarity at the individual level, and many organisations exhibit fragility in their ability to create long-term value for themselves and their stakeholders. This professorship proposes a search for ways to organize a healthy creative practice that contributes to a caring and sustainable society.
